Stricter Defaults on Ubuntu.

I’m just making a quick post here. To document a few changes I made on this page I’m afraid the comment section was a bit too small to use instead. 😉

I’ve changed /dev/shm to /run/shm, in the shared memory section. And I’ve changed root admin to root sudo, in the su program available to non-admin users section.

Reasons :

  1. /dev/shm appears to be a symlink to /run/shm.
  2. The sudo group is used in admin’s stead these days. I also wonder : If the same restriction should be applied to its cousin sudo ?
